Of course, the makeup I wore in yesterday's photo shoot was relatively tame, compared to what I usually do... I feel a nude lip and smokey eyes are the perfect look for right now, and it does make a dramatic difference to someone who's used to something more.. natural..

Pink Hair, Don't Care

OMG, I love having cherry blossom pink hair! 

I washed my hair with an old purple color shampoo I had lying around from when I had dark purple hair.... Old. LOL But it worked its magic and I now have [very temporary] cherry blossom pink hair. 

I love it so much! It's so fun, and I think I'm going to keep doing it for a little while. It's a VERY temporary look too- the color will wash out the next time I wash my hair, unless I use the color shampoo again. It's cleaner, and easier- not a pain in the ass like actually dying your hair. For pastel colors though, you [obviously] have to have very light hair like mine, and it's not going to make much of a difference on darker hair. It's actually made for sprucing up your [already dyed] hair. 

My grandma hates it,.... IT'S SO COOL.

Today I mailed my first letter in... several years now. I do everything online, usually, so this was a rare occasion in which Gary and I walked to the nearest mailbox [and took photos]. Feels weeeeird!

What a long weekend! While I had a lot of fun with family, and supporting my little sister at her high school graduation, and saying goodbye to my dying kitty [so heartbreaking - farewell, old friend], I'm utterly exhausted and glad to be back home. After all that, I don't give a shit what I look like today, and am rocking the grunge look with a pair of old ripped jeans and a DIY t-shirt.

Yesterday I shot Gary wearing his new bacon tee, and naturally, he took a few photos of me at the same time [with the HTC One for Boost Mobile]. 

I've been wearing compression gloves a lot lately, especially when working with my hands, to help with my fibromyalgia pains. They're such a life saver! Without them, I wouldn't be able to take photos, or type on the computer, or use my touch-screen phone, or do any of the bajillion other things we do with our hands on a daily basis. Until you develop severe arthritis-like pains, you have no idea how good you have it! Be thankful. <3
