Last month I purchased the Kat Von D Lock 'N Load makeup setting mist as an alternative to Urban Decay De-Slick, since I need a little extra moisture during the cold weather months.

Well, it's okay. I'm not a fan. (Although someone else may have better results...)

The packaging is beautiful, elegant even. I love the black with silver rose print.

However, I do not like the spray nozzle. While it's possible I may have wound up with a defect, the 'mist' wasn't really a mist at all. It was a spray, and was spotty. I couldn't interchange with the spritzer thingamajig from my previous Urban Decay bottle, so I just dumped the KVD Lock 'N Load into the UD bottle and continued to use it from there.

I found it to help a lot with my cold weather moisture issues, but perhaps it left me looking a little too shiny, as I find it absolutely necessary to finish off with another layer of powder after I spray it on.

And while it does help keep my makeup in place longer, it's not even close to the power of Urban Decay De-Slick. I'm a little disappointed.

However, I will continue to use this until it's gone, because I'm a broke bitch who can't afford to waste product. But I will try something else next time.
