Keeping your makeup brushes clean is super important! You need to prevent bacteria buildup on your brushes, in your makeup, as well as on your face (to keep your skin, and yourself, clean and healthy).
**Did you know not only are you getting makeup on your brushes, but also dead skin, oil, dirt, and bacteria, and who knows what else, that can contribute to breakouts and other infections? - E-coli, conjunctivitis, staph, herpes simplex, strep...**
I use Sephora Daily Makeup Brush Cleaner not just because it's a great antibacterial product, but because it's also quick and easy to use.
The process:
1) Spray onto brush.
2) Gently wipe brush onto a lint-free cloth (I use a paper towel so I can see all the shit coming off it).
3) Let air dry.
It doesn't get much easier than that. I do it right after I finish my makeup, then let my brushes dry all day while I'm at work, or wherever. It takes one minute, no joke.
And it's gentle enough to use every day (duh, it says daily), between more intense cleanings.
**Let your brushes dry flat to prevent fluid leaking into the handles and damaging them (which will cause them to break faster).**
Try the Sephora Daily Makeup Brush Cleaner for yourself and see how easy it is. (2oz. $7, 6.75oz. $15)
