Makeup: What I Wore To The Zombie Ball

*This post contains affiliate links.*

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it
Last night was the Zombie Ball, before which I did not have time to take outfit photos. But other people happened to snap some photos while we were there and I can at least talk about the makeup I wore.

I was super prepared as far as the makeup goes... I woke up this morning to find it hasn't budged one bit. Not a single crease. Spilling my drink down my chin didn't do anything to it. I tell you, these are miracle products right here.

To get that perfect pale complexion, I used...
CoverGirl Outlast 3-in-1 foundation
Sephora MicroSmooth powder

On my eyes, I used...
the matte black from Revlon Colorstay eye shadow quad in Siren (applied dry with a sponge applicator to line the eye, then with a brush to extend outward)
Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant mascara

To set the look, I used...
Urban Decay De-Slick makeup setting spray

black corset by Charlotte Russe, gifted from a friend

I passed out with my makeup on last night (bad, I know...) and even now, as I'm sitting in my robe with a hangover, I still look fabulous. In fact, I'm actually kind of dreading washing it off and finding out how bad my under eye circles really are...

So if you're going to an event, or just want to be sure your makeup stays 10+ hours, I really suggest trying these products out for yourself. You may be pleasantly surprised.

TGIF - Preparing For The Zombie Ball

Zombie Ball 2012
Wow, it's been a rough week - TGIF!

No rest for me though, I've got a busy weekend ahead... I have to work until 5pm today, then spend the rest of tonight, and all day tomorrow, preparing for this year's Zombie Ball, which is tomorrow night. I'll probably feel like a zombie once Sunday rolls around.

Don't expect anything serious from me over the next few days... There is nothing serious about a Halloween party! I will be sure to post outfit and makeup photos though.

I have a feeling today is going to be a rough day. I woke up with a toothache that is giving me a killer headache. Painkillers barely touch it, but heat helps a lot. Unfortunately, I can't have a heating pad attached to my head at work.. I can't call off though. I need this.

It's always my luck to have at least one major mishap, often more, before an event. But everything usually turns out just fine in the end. I have a lot to accomplish in my last minute costume cram time... but I think I can do it.

I'll figure something out...

Go Ho, Or No Go?

sluts on halloween
Can't help it, I LOL'ed
We all know it's not really Halloween night without sluts, but where do you stand on the matter? Do you find it fun to go out in a revealing costume and/or lingerie, or are you more conservative?

I am definitely the latter.

I'm all for going out and having fun and getting my drunk on, but when it comes down to it, I find it sexier to leave it to the imagination. I'll use my charm and wit before I resort to wearing a top that may expose a nipple. (I pride myself in my intelligence, that's what I'd rather be liked for..)

Don't get me wrong, I like boobies as much as anyone else, but I'd rather be in the background and enjoy from afar.

This year at the Zombie Ball, you can expect me to look similar to last- as my typical creepy stage persona. (Will post photos later!)

I'm definitely going to forgo the powder, and the crazy mess that comes with it, this year though.

I'm a bit nervous about the 6 inch wedge heels I'm going to be wearing though... It would probably be wise to bring an extra pair of shoes just in case. Never go without shoes in a bar/club/etc! Either be prepared for the worst, or suffer until you get home. Make a promise to your shoes and keep it.

Are you hosting and/or going to any Halloween parties this year? What are you wearing?
