Outfit: Running (wo)Man

It's pretty freaking cold outside, but I love this outfit and absolutely had to wear it.

I think it's necessary to, on cold days like today, wear something you really love. Your mood is super important so wear things that make you feel good about yourself and inspire confidence.

My Jager hat has been everywhere with me- many cities, states, through many hair and clothing styles, many shows... over several years. I have another just like it, but haven't worn it in yet because I'm so attached to this one! (This may inspire a post for another day...)

Outfit: Coffee And Fuxleep

OMG, it feels like it's been forever since the weather has been nice enough for outfit photos!

It's only the beginning of December, and it's about to get a LOT colder... but today was a wonderful break from the frigid temperature. It was 49 degrees here in upstate NY!

No special photo locations today, just a big parking lot! Gary and I spent the afternoon out doing errands and stuff. I started getting a little silly once the iced latte kicked in. I love you, caffeine..

We walked around Hobby Lobby for a bit, checking out all the cool stuff... I bought a beautiful journal and played with some festive fashion accessories. LOL 

Afterward, we had lunch at Panera Bread, at which I got veggie soup and half a Mediterranean veggie sandwich, and a large iced green tea. I love Panera because they have great vegetarian options and are a LOT healthier than most other restaurants. Not to mention their bread is AMAZING.... 

After all that, I went home, cracked open a Limearita and started blogging about my day. And that brings us to present.. 

I think I can get used to this having Wednesday off thing. Now I can spend hump day doing whatever the fuck I want. Like, probably blogging, because that's the only time I get to do it...

Sunday Outfit: Hiking

I got these awesome Tripp shorts a while back for $7 on eBay. They're made of a nice heavy denim (much too hot for today) and durable.

You don't have to be a label snob, nor spend a certain amount of money on your clothing to be fashionable, so toss that notion right out the window. Many of my favorite items in my closet have been obtained cheaply, some even free! (It does pay to have generous friends) Hit up online (or otherwise) rummage sales, eBay, clearance racks at your favorite stores, etc. Visit stores you normally wouldn't shop at. You may just find that one item you were looking for, and for much less than expected.
